Colbert To FEC: ‘How You Like Me Now?’

Stephen Colbert

Stephen Colbert on Monday regained control of his super PAC. And just in time. The deadline to file financial disclosure reports with the Federal Election Commission has arrived. “It’s a great day for transparency,” Colbert said.

As for the report, Colbert thinks “some people are going to be pleasantly dropping a load in their pants.”

As of Monday, Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow had raised $1,023,121. ”Yeah! How you like me now, F.E.C? I’m rolling seven digits deep! I got 99 problems but a non-connected independent-expenditure only committee ain’t one!” Colbert said in a memo to the FEC.
