Colbert To Jon Stewart: Give Me My Super PAC Money Back!

Stephen Colbert

Well, South Carolina didn’t turn out how Stephen Colbert — I mean, Herman Cain — had hoped. While Colbert on Monday said the more than 6,000 votes for Herman Cain was a victory, it wasn’t enough to keep the comedian’s exploratory committee going.

“I am re-suspending Herman Cain’s suspended campaign,” Colbert said. And with that, Colbert suspended his exploratory committee for the presidency of the “United States of South Carolina.”

“So now that my exploration has come to an end, maybe I’ll be like Herman Cain and hit the road in a bus with my face on it,” Colbert added. First, since he’s no longer exploring a campaign, he asked Jon Stewart to give back his super PAC. But Stewart was too busy counting his money on his zeppelin.
