Colbert Uses Super PAC Force To Welcome Obama To The ‘Green Side’

Stephen Colbert

Stephen Colbert is upset that the Republican presidential candidates’ super PACs are getting all the attention. More than 320 super PACs are now on the scene, riding Colbert’s “wallet tails.” Even Nancy Pelosi is attacking Colbert’s big money political machine, calling for more disclosure from super PACs.

If Pelosi wants disclosure, Colbert said, she should ask her “anti-super PAC buddy President Obama.” But now his campaign is also accepting super PAC money, despite standing against the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision that allowed unlimited corporate financing in politics.

Colbert donned a Star Wars-era cloak to welcome “young PAC-walker” to the “green side.”
