Ever keen to get the first reports on polling night, CNN on Tuesday sent its reporters out to the actual ballot-counting facilities.
While the speed of the results may give CNN the edge over other networks, the need to send a camera along to film the goings-on could be questioned.
While waiting for the results to come in, CNN viewers could check out convicts in Alabama and a door in Mississippi.
