Jon Stewart Marvels At Fox News’ Pivot To Romney

Jon Stewart

Mitt Romney’s election is Fox News’ job, Jon Stewart said on Thursday. And Mitt finally “happened.”

Stewart marveled at conservative pundits pivoting to Romney. The former Massachusetts governor wasn’t even in Charles Krauthammer top 5, but he has since come around. Sarah Palin is finally convinced Romney will surround himself with sufficiently conservative surrogates. “Basically, she’s saying, ‘I don’t trust Romney, but I trust everyone he’ll hire,’” Stewart said.

But the most acrobatic pivot belongs to Dick Morris. He went, in Stewart’s words, from “‘conservatives will never go for this guy’ to ‘this guy is the greatest thing since sliced Reagan.’”
