Jon Stewart Suggests A New Term For ‘Vagina’ That Will Make Michigan Republicans More Comfortable

Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart doesn’t understand what Michigan Republicans are so worried about. After Michigan state Rep. Lisa Brown (D) used the word “vagina” during a floor speech last week, she was barred from speaking the next day.

“Vaginas aren’t like Voldemort or Beetlejuice,” Stewart said Monday. “Invoking the name ‘vagina’ doesn’t make them suddenly appear. Believe me, if it did, high school would have been very different for me.”

But fine, he said. If the state wants women to use more conservative-friendly language, Stewart proposed a new term: “Margaret Snatcher.”
