Stephen Colbert on Tuesday picked up a National Journal report detailing a fearsome political foe in Nevada: “none of these candidates.”
Nevada is the only state in the nation to offer “none” as a choice on the ballot, and Republicans in the state have filed suit to oust the non-candidate option. Colbert thinks Romney might have something to worry about if “none” is allowed to run. Romney’s entire platform is “I’m not Barack Obama,” Colbert said, “and you can’t get more not Barack Obama than no one.”
“You want to talk small government, this guy believes in none government,” Colbert said. There’s only one thing for Romney to do: choose “none of the above” as his running mate.
