Jon Stewart: Wow, Romney’s Biz Practices Are ‘Too Shady’ For Italy

Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart on Tuesday focused on Mitt Romney’s controversial business dealings in Italy, after a Bloomberg report found that Bain Capital took over a company there and skirted taxes by funneling profits through Luxembourg. The Bloomberg report suggests Romney may have skipped over Italy on his foreign trip to avoid an awkward confrontation.

“Wow, Mitt Romney’s business practices are too shady for Italy,” Stewart said, stunned. “Mitt Romney has to say to Italy, ‘I’m a legitimate businessman.’ Italy, a country where the prime minister, the head of the country’s largest media conglomerate and the host of their finest ‘bunga bunga’ parties is the same fucking guy.”
